Not All Heroes Wear Capes

You may be thinking that the headline is somewhat overused, but in relation to today’s news from Red Scar, it isn’t used enough! We are extremely proud of all the announcements regarding the members joining our growing team. The addition of our newest signing, however, truly fills us with joy. For today, the B.P.R.D. becomes enormously accessible to everyone. Red Scar is pleased to announce that Sara Thompson will be joining us on the Hellboy: The Roleplaying Game writing team, where she will be enabling agents from all walks of life with the ability to enter the field of supernatural investigation.

Sara Thompson (@mustangsart) is a disabled freelance writer and sensitivity reader, having worked on RTalsorianGames’ ‘The Witcher’ and Paizo Games’ ‘Starfinder’ and ‘Pathfinder’.¬† Most recently, she has produced the Combat Wheelchair, a homebrew item for 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons, which now has a line of 4 miniatures with proceeds going to charity, and a set of free PDFs available. Sara is an advocate for disability and accessibility in gaming and creates her own supplementary content for TTRPGs such as D&D and The Witcher on her Patreon,¬†creating mechanics and guidance on roleplaying disabilities.

We have always striven to ensure that our games are diverse and inclusive. We are tremendously thankful that Sara will be helping us take that to the next level. Welcome to the team, Sara!
